Inspection of crane ropes using ROPESYS rope testing equipment.

Magnetic crane rope testing is becoming increasingly important, as safety and efficiency play a central role in modern factory halls. Therefore, our new promotional video showcases the ROPESYS R28 in real-world use. The video demonstrates, for example, what our rope testing device can achieve in everyday practice.

This provides an authentic impression of the technology, which fully captures both the internal and external condition of crane ropes.

Technology for precise rope condition assessment

The magnetic crane rope inspection system ROPESYS R28 is based on a digital multi-channel sensor that detects changes in the wire rope with high resolution. The system operates wirelessly and via a web browser, so no software installation is required.

Easy mounting on the rope

The design of the ROPESYS R28 is deliberately geared towards simplifying setup, because every minute counts, especially in crane applications. Therefore, the device can be mounted quickly and easily on the rope.

This creates a secure fit on the wire rope, and the system is immediately ready for use. This saves time and reduces potential errors during setup. As soon as the rope passes through the device, real-time measurement begins, allowing for an immediate assessment of the rope’s condition.

Real-time measurement and browser-based operation

During the test, the measurement signals are displayed in real time on the laptop, tablet, iPad, etc. – completely wirelessly. This allows for the immediate detection of anomalies. The browser-based interface ensures that no additional software installation is required.

Furthermore, it allows access from various devices, either via a laptop or a tablet. This keeps the testing process flexible while displaying all data in a clearly structured manner.

Redundant channels for maximum informative value

The ROPESYS R28 uses a redundant multi-channel system. This allows for the simultaneous acquisition and comparison of LF, LMA, stroke length, and the three-dimensional view. This results in a particularly informative database.

The more complex the inspection task, the more important this advantage becomes. After all, the combination of channels allows for a complete evaluation of the rope, while the digital sensor detects even the smallest anomalies.

Robust design for worldwide use

The weatherproof design of the ROPESYS R28 ensures reliable operation both indoors and outdoors. All magnetic components are made of high-quality materials, guaranteeing long-term stability.

Furthermore, the device is available in several sizes, enabling reliable testing of various rope diameters from 4 to 350 mm. An integrated analysis tool is also available, offering both standard evaluation and a report generator. This allows for quick and complete documentation after the measurement.
