ROTEC is used worldwide for Fatzer.

Our colleague Lars recently traveled to Japan to conduct a ropeway inspection at Ryuuo Ropeway Japan. The Ryuuo Ropeway in Yamanouchi, Nagano, is known for its breathtaking mountain scenery and its sophisticated engineering.

For our customer Fatzer, Lars carefully inspected the carrier ropes on site to ensure the highest safety standards. In the process, he was able to accurately assess both the internal and external condition of the carrier ropes, which is crucial for the safe operation of the ropeway.

Precision and efficiency directly on site

The inspection was carried out using state-of-the-art measuring technology, which delivers precise results. On the one hand, this allows potential problems to be identified early, and on the other hand, it optimizes the planning of maintenance work. At the same time, this procedure ensures that the cable car continues to operate without interruption.

Thanks to the structured approach and precise measurements, a particularly reliable database is created that can be used immediately.

International expertise from ROTEC

The deployment in Japan impressively demonstrates that our ROPESYS rope testing equipment stands for high-precision rope testing worldwide. Lars combined technical expertise with practical experience, ensuring an efficient and error-free testing process.

Both the meticulous preparation and the on-site execution were completed on schedule. This clearly demonstrates that ROTEC can also implement international projects safely, quickly, and reliably.

Real-time measurements and digital evaluation

During the rope inspection, Lars was able to directly evaluate and document the measurements. This allows for an immediate assessment of the rope’s condition and a transparent overview for the customer. The digital processing ensures that all data is clearly structured and can be used directly for decision-making.

This increases both the safety and the efficiency of the entire testing process.

Conclusion

The Ryuuo Ropeway rope test in Japan impressively demonstrates how ROTEC supports international projects and sets the highest standards in rope testing.

Our testing engineers not only ensure the smooth operation of the systems, but also contribute to their longevity and reliability.

Thanks to precision, experience and efficient execution, our customers worldwide can rely on our expertise.

ROTEC – we make ropes safe.
