Quality is not determined on the construction site or by the customer. Quality is created during production.

This is exactly where the ROPESYS Inline rope testing device comes in.

Our magnetic rope testing system, in its INLINE version, was specifically developed for process control in rope manufacturing. It is integrated directly into the production line of the stranding machine and is typically located immediately after the stranding point.

This allows the system to check each individual wire of the rope in real time – even during manufacturing and before the rope is wound onto the reel. Additional rewinding operations are not necessary.

Real-time rope testing directly in the manufacturing process

The ROPESYS INLINE rope testing devices continuously monitor the condition of each wire magnetically. Simultaneously, the system analyzes all measurement data in real time.

As soon as it detects an anomaly or damage, it reacts immediately.

The signaling system is flexible and adaptable. Depending on customer requirements, the system can provide information via a traffic light, a display, or an audible alarm.

Additionally, the Ethernet connection enables remote data viewing. This allows those responsible to maintain an overview at all times, even remotely.

Even more important, however, is the direct process control. At defined limits, the system can automatically slow down or even stop the stranding machine.

This allows irregularities to be inspected immediately – before the rope lands on the reel or is delivered to the customer.

Process reliability before mistakes become costly

In industrial rope manufacturing, every minute counts. At the same time, however, there can be no compromise on quality. That’s why the ROPESYS INLINE rope testing device combines maximum production speed with continuous quality monitoring.

All measurement data is recorded and stored without gaps. This results in transparent documentation of production quality.

Manufacturers can therefore not only react, but also document, analyze and optimize in the long term.

The system is suitable for all types of steel strands and ropes. It can be flexibly integrated into existing production lines and supports manufacturers in consistently maintaining and documenting their quality standards.

Inline rope testing as the key to modern rope production

With the ROPESYS Inline rope testing device, rope testing is integrated directly into the manufacturing process. Instead of discovering defects later, they become visible immediately.

Discussions about any errors discovered later are eliminated, as the flawless condition upon dispatch is demonstrably documented. This increases safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness equally.

For rope manufacturers, this means: full control over every strand, at every stage of production – in real time.
