Welcome to ROTEC GmbH.

The ROTEC GmbH (ROpe TEChnology) was founded in 2017 by Dipl.-Ing. Sven Winter, Dipl.-Ing. Dirk Moll, Dr.-Ing. Martin Wehr und Sebastian Traub M.Sc..

All four were previously long-standing staff members at the Institute of Materials Handling and Logistics at the University of Stuttgart, where they worked in research (wire ropes, fiber ropes, cable car systems, non-destructive rope testing technology) and development, and served as recognized experts for cable car systems.

By pooling experience and knowledge within a dedicated company, the aim is to continue meeting the customer’s desire for continuity and comprehensive service.

Based in Stuttgart—a hub of German engineering excellence—ROTEC stands for the highest quality, innovative strength, and technology. Our products and services are developed and manufactured entirely in Germany.
