We are looking for reinforcements for our workshop in Stuttgart.

Electrical engineers, mechatronics engineers, mechanics – this is exactly the profile we are currently looking for for our ROTEC team.

Our workshop in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim needs support from someone who enjoys technology and has knowledge of both electronics and mechanics.

About us

We develop, build and service rope testing equipment used all over the world – from dizzying cable cars to critical industrial machines.

In short: We don’t develop products for the garage. We are the reason why cable cars, cranes and elevators operate safely and without accidents worldwide.

And now you come into play: We’re looking for a true all-rounder for our workshop in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim, someone who isn’t afraid of electronics or mechanics. You’ll be our hero when it comes to our

To assemble, maintain and perfectly adjust ROPESYS high-tech equipment.

Your tasks at ROTEC

  • Electronics Detective: Fault analysis and repair of our testing equipment (from the circuit board to the sensors).
  • Mechanics Maker: Maintenance, repair, and optimization of mechanical components. Here you can tinker, improve, and experiment.
  • The finishing touches: assembly, calibration and final inspection – you make our devices ready for their worldwide use.
  • Your own projects: Contribute your ideas on how we can make our production processes even smarter and more efficient. We’re small, so your opinion counts – immediately!

Your profile

  • A completed apprenticeship as an electrical engineer, mechatronics engineer, industrial mechanic, or a motivated career starter.
  • You’re a master of circuit diagrams AND wrenches. If you can handle a soldering iron and a torque wrench equally well, you’re worth your weight in gold!
  • Want to delve deeply into our self-developed, unique technology? (Don’t worry, we’ll teach you everything and of course provide thorough training – and there’s plenty of coffee!)
  • Good IT skills (Office, Linux is a plus)
  • Driving licence class B – for when things need to be moved and the willingness to tackle things.
  • You are independent, pragmatic, and have an eye for quality.

  • Do you speak Swabian? Nice. Do you speak English? Even better, because our devices are international.

What we offer you

  • Real responsibility: You are not a small cog in the machine – your work counts.
  • Engineers you can connect with: You work directly with the minds behind the technology. Flat hierarchies are a daily reality for us.
  • Innovation instead of routine: Our products are constantly evolving – and you’re part of it.
  • Location advantage Stuttgart-Untertürkheim: Our workshop is centrally located in Untertürkheim and is easily accessible.
  • Atmosphere: Professional, but relaxed. We work hard, laugh a lot – and take each other seriously.
  • Secure job: Permanent, future-proof and with 30 days of vacation.
  • Fair pay: Appreciation that you can also see in your bank account.

Sounds like you? Then apply to join us!

Send us your CV and a short cover letter that tells us why you want to tinker and build things at ROTEC.

Please send your application to: sven.winter@ro-tec.net

We look forward to seeing you!

ROTEC – we make ropes safe.
