Safety begins with us.
With our modern rope testing equipment, we contribute daily to ensuring the safety of cable cars, crane systems, storage and retrieval machines, mine hoisting systems, and many other cable-driven installations.
However, for us, responsibility does not end with the customer. The safety of our own employees is just as important to us. After all, anyone working in the field needs to be able to rely on their equipment at all times.
That is why regular safety inspections, training sessions, and further education are just as much a part of our daily work routine as the annual inspection of personal protective equipment against falls (PPE against falls).
Annual inspection of PPE against falls from a height
Last week, the annual inspection of personal protective equipment (PPE) against falls was once again on the agenda. For this purpose, all employees came to the company with their complete set of PPE.
Each individual part was then carefully checked – from the safety harness, lanyards and carabiners to energy absorbers and other accessories.
Even the slightest damage or signs of wear are detected and assessed during this process. Only equipment in perfect condition is subsequently put back into use.
Every detail counts.
There is no room for compromise when working in areas where there is a risk of falling. That is why every piece of personal protective equipment is regularly inspected and documented.
This annual inspection gives our employees the assurance that they can rely on their equipment at all times. After all, only those who trust their gear can focus fully on the task at hand.
Responsibility every day
The annual inspection of personal protective equipment against falls (PSAgA) is a key component of our safety concept. Regular instruction and training for work in areas where there is a risk of falling are equally essential.
For us, workplace safety is neither a mandatory exercise nor a one-off calendar event. It is part of our daily routine—in the office, in the workshop, and above all, during our on-site operations.
Our goal is quite simple: Every employee should be able to perform their work safely and return home safe and sound at the end of the day.
