Rope testing device: ROTEC checks haulage ropes in the mountains of Patriata, Pakistan.
In October 2024, our expert Sebastian Traub was on the road in Pakistan as part of an important rope test.
On October 24, he carried out a comprehensive inspection of the haul ropes of the 2-seater chairlift and the 8-seater gondola lift at the Patriata theme park. The ropeways, which are located in the mountains of the Punjab region, are not only a technical masterpiece, but also a major attraction for visitors to the park.
Equipped with modern rope testing equipment, Sebastian Traub took a close look at the ropes to ensure that they meet the highest safety standards. The rope testing device used at ROTEC enables the rope integrity to be checked precisely and quickly in order to identify potential sources of danger at an early stage. This ensures the operational safety of the ropeways and extends the service life of the ropes.
The 2-seater chairlift and the 8-seater gondola lift in Patriata are known for their steep and challenging sections. Regular inspection of the haul ropes is therefore essential to ensure a safe and reliable ride for visitors.
ROTEC offers rope testing of the highest quality worldwide, even in remote mountain locations like Patriata.
Our ROPESYS rope testing devices guarantee a thorough inspection and help ensure that cable cars can be operated safely and reliably worldwide.
With this successful inspection in Pakistan, ROTEC is setting a further example of quality and safety in the field of rope testing and contributing to the high safety culture in the use of ropeways.
