Welcome to the team: Ajdin Šljivić.
Ajdin Šljivić has been a member of ROTEC‘s team as an expert since August 2025. His technical expertise is broad – from production and development to commissioning and research.
While in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he worked on exciting projects at the Mining Institute in Tuzla, including in the areas of ecology, occupational safety, and materials testing.
He is now bringing this experience to ROTEC to further advance innovative technologies with us.
His hometown of Tuzla is known as the “City of Salt” – with the largest salt mine in the region and unique saltwater lakes.
Even though the move to Germany was a big step for Ajdin, he says, “The opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology at ROTEC was definitely worth it.” He particularly appreciated the friendly team atmosphere.
Outside of work, Ajdin is a true outdoorsman and sports enthusiast. Even as a child, he went hunting with his father – a passion he continues to this day.
He also enjoys competitive shooting (Olympic Trap) and is a big cycling fan: whether mountain biking or road biking, the main thing is two wheels and plenty of exercise. When things are more relaxed, he enjoys spending time on his computer gaming.
When it comes to food, he swears by Ćevapčići – and when it comes to music, it can be a bit harder, with Kollegah or Farid Bang in his headphones.
