Test setup of the Mountain Planet trade fair stand at ROTEC

The Mountain Planet trade fair is approaching – and at ROTEC that means not only planning and organizing, but also getting down to practical work.

To ensure everything was in place in Grenoble, we simply set up our entire exhibition stand in front of our own office.

Why we test our exhibition stand beforehand

Planning a trade fair booth is quick, but everything has to be perfect on site. And because the conditions vary from trade fair to trade fair, we wanted to play it safe.

Our Octanorm stand, which we set up ourselves for the first time last year in Innsbruck, doesn’t automatically fit one-to-one with Grenoble.

So the motto was: don’t think about it for too long, just try it out.

The trial setup allowed us to see directly how much space we really need, what adjustments are necessary, and how everything can best be set up.

This will save time, nerves, and probably also one or two spontaneous improvisation attempts later on.

A look behind the scenes at ROTEC

For the test setup, the stand was assembled step by step on our premises – from the first module to the finished construction. The aim was not just to “put it up,” but above all to test it.

Modules were retrieved from storage, parts sorted, assembled, disassembled again, and rearranged. Just as can happen at a trade fair.

And incidentally, such actions always show that a trade fair stand doesn’t just happen by itself – it requires teamwork, coordination and sometimes a bit of improvisation.

Well prepared for Grenoble

After the successful trial setup, we can now look forward to Mountain Planet with much more confidence. We know our booth works – and can concentrate on what really matters on-site: interacting with visitors and presenting our solutions.

ROTEC at Mountain Planet in Grenoble

From April 21st to 23rd, 2026, we will be represented at Mountain Planet in Grenoble – in Hall 1 at booth 1368.

There we will be showcasing our ROPESYS devices for testing wire ropes and will also be bringing a new development that we will be presenting to the public for the first time.

If you’re at the trade fair, please feel free to stop by our booth. We look forward to interesting conversations, new contacts, and exchanging ideas with industry professionals.

ROTEC – we make ropes safe.
