J\u00e4hrliche PSA-Schulung und Betriebsausflug.<\/span><\/h2>\n

PSAgA training in Dotternhausen. <\/strong><\/span>
The annual personal protective equipment (PPE) training for our ROTEC <\/strong>employees at Holcim Cement in Dotternhausen <\/a>and the local material cable car took place on October 1, 2025. This training on personal protective equipment against falls from a height is mandatory for everyone who works at height. <\/span><\/p>\n

The focus was on rescuing colleagues in an emergency and on self-rescue in the event of an accident.<\/span><\/p>\n

Why training is so important<\/strong><\/span>
Safety is our top priority at ROTEC<\/strong>. That’s why training is an integral part of our work. Through practical exercises, our teams learn how to react quickly and correctly in an emergency. <\/span><\/p>\n

This not only increases safety in the workplace but also strengthens trust within the team.<\/span><\/p>\n

Plant tour at Holcim Cement<\/strong><\/span>
Following the PPE training, our company outing took place. Holcim Cement <\/a>offered us a detailed tour of the plant, covering everything from limestone extraction to final bottling. The transport of the rock via the modern cable car from Plettenberg<\/a> down to the valley was impressive. <\/span><\/p>\n

This plant was built in 2020 and even produces electricity for cement production during operation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Focus on sustainability<\/strong><\/span>
During the tour, we gained fascinating insights into the entire production process. What was particularly interesting was how Holcim <\/a>reduces its ecological footprint. Instead of gas and oil, alternative fuels are used. <\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, the exhaust gas is cleaned so thoroughly that only about 20 kilograms of ash need to be disposed of annually.<\/span><\/p>\n

Modern filter systems for fewer emissions<\/strong><\/span>
The company continuously invests in modern filter systems and has reduced nitrogen oxide emissions by around a third since 2012. This means that Holcim <\/a>not only meets the legal limits, but even significantly exceeds them. <\/span><\/p>\n

External controls and transparent emissions reports ensure that the public is informed at all times.<\/span><\/p>\n

End of the day together at the Naboo Restaurant<\/span>
After so much technology and information, the day ended with a convivial dinner at the Naboo Restaurant in Balingen.<\/a> <\/p>\n

Over a good meal, the colleagues had the opportunity to reflect on their experiences and exchange ideas.<\/span><\/p>\n


\n Conclusion<\/strong>
\n<\/span>
The company outing impressively demonstrated how safety, training and team spirit work together. <\/p>\n

This is how we at ROTEC <\/strong>remain strong not only in rope testing<\/a>, but also as a community.<\/span><\/p>\n
