For example, the Hambach opencast mine uses the 293 excavator, which, with its 14,200-ton weight and 96-meter height, moves up to 240,000 m\u00b3 of material daily. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1620\" data-end=\"2063\">The two 75mm diameter hoist ropes lift the gigantic bucket wheel boom. These ropes are subject to extreme forces and must be regularly inspected to ensure safety. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2065\" data-end=\"2115\"><strong>Powerful technology for extreme conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2117\" data-end=\"2495\">Dirty environments and heavily lubricated ropes are no problem for our compact <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ropesys.com\/seilpruefgeraete\/\">R83 rope testing device<\/a>.
